JoAnn Cudo is the Special Education Teacher at JAJ for the 2011-12 school year.  This is her 11th year working at JAJ and her tenth year working for St. Paul Public Schools.  JoAnn is a licensed special education teacher by the Minnesota Department of Education for grades K-12 in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities and Developmental Cognitive Disabilities.  She has earned her Masters in Education from the Hamline University, BS in Special Education at Moorhead State University, and BS in Psychology at the University of North Dakota.

Outside of work, JoAnn enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  She loves hanging out with her husband, two kids, and dog.  She enjoys the outdoors, dancing, reading, cooking, and watching sports.  She also enjoys going to Vikings games and traveling to other football stadiums.

JoAnn grew up in the Twin Cities.  She loves Minnesota and the seasons our state brings.  JoAnn has not traveled outside of the US, but hopes to someday.  She would love to travel to Australia and Sweden.

One thing JoAnn loves about JAJ is the achievement plus community school model.  Our school has community partners on site for our families, which makes our school very unique!  For example, we have a health clinic and a dental office at our school.  The resources allow our students to learn and feel safe.
